I tried to return an item at my local Ace hardware in Ortonville Michigan and the fact that I bought it at a different Ace they would not return it. The manager came to the register and said they did not stock that item and would not take it back. Ace claims to be your local neighbor hardware but I would rather drive 25 minutes to Home Depot for ANYTHING than to ever make another purchase at this place two blocks away. I’ve been here 5 years now and never had an issue with anyone or anything at Ace. Which I only returned it because I got the wrong kind but still, no issue at all. And any promotion or add sale that I’ve got, Ace has always backed it 100 percent.
